The Ruffwear Palisades Pack makes multi-day backcountry adventures possible with features like removable saddlebags, two collapsible water bottles, and a load compression system. This fully-featured dog pack uses a modified Web Master Harness frame with four points of attachment to ensure load stability and comfortable weight distribution. It’s recommended that your dog carry no more than 25% of their body weight in their dog pack. If your dog is new to dog packs, start with a light load and work up to a heavier load as your dog gets accustomed to wearing the pack. The Palisades Pack is available in 3 sizes. Select the correct size based on your dog’s girth (measurement around the widest part of the rib cage). Small: 22-27 inches (56-69 cm); Medium: 27-32 inches (69-81 cm); Large/X-Large: 32-42 inches (81-107 cm). For in between sizes, choose the smallest size. Weight & Capacity: Small: 1.75 lb (0.8 kg) / 610 in³ (10 L) capacity; Medium: 1.85 lb (0.84 kg) / 793 in³ (14 L) capacity; Large/X-Large: 2.15 lb (0.98 kg) / 1098 in³ (19 L) capacity.
